Service 01

Air Freight

When the schedule is tight, air freight keeps your cargo moving.

Overview

Air freight is often the most direct way to move goods between countries when time is the deciding factor. We start by understanding the consignment, the deadline and the destination, then arrange the carrier space and supporting steps needed to move it.

From preparing the paperwork to answering questions while cargo is in transit, our role is to make an inherently complex process feel organised and clearly managed.

What information do you need to quote for air freight?

The origin and destination, a description of the goods, the number of packages, total weight, dimensions of each piece and the date the cargo will be ready. The more accurate the details, the more accurate the quotation.

How is air freight charged?

Air freight is usually charged on chargeable weight — the greater of the actual weight and the volumetric weight calculated from the dimensions. Bulky but light cargo can therefore cost more than its weight alone suggests.

Can hazardous goods travel by air?

Some can, under strict regulations, and others cannot travel by air at all. Please describe the cargo fully in your enquiry and our team will advise on what is possible.
